We first introduced Shayna and James with their Caribbean inspired wedding trailer back in March and now the highlights are here! We loved how they integrated a fun, upbeat choreographed dance into their first dance as a married couple – their guests loved it too, cheering and going wild! We also recently found out that Shayna and James are expecting… twins!! We can’t be happier for you two, and we wish you years of happiness!

This video is amazing and makes me wish I had one from my wedding! I’m glad there was such a wonderful celebration for Shayna and James. And double congratulations on twins! WOW! A very happy and healthy nine months to mom and babies.

This video is so beautiful and so fun. It’s really captured Shayna and James’ personalities.

TWINS!!!!!!!! OMG! I really can’t be happier for you two like I said three months ago you deserve all the goodness that comes to you, and now your gonna have two gorgeous babies that couldn’t ask for better parents (I will be expecting a baby shower invite… ). Well Congrats to both of you, you have a long and exiting journey ahead of you. When you need a babysitter PLEASE do not hesitate to call ( I mean that!)
One of the best parts of our job is meeting people, all different types of people. Occasionally we have the privilege of seeing some of the same great people at different weddings, such is the case with Eli. We first met Eli at Dianna and Jeremiah’s wedding last year at the Broadmoor. At our wedding this past Saturday, as soon as I walked into the groom’s room to begin filming, I turned to his familiar face and said “hey, I know you!” I remembered Eli from Dianna and Jeremiah’s wedding as the fun, dancing, life-of-the-party at the reception. Well the same was the case for Katie and Dirk’s wedding this Saturday. I knew something was up when Eli came rushing into the groom’s room near the end of the night, grabbed his sunglasses and went running back out towards the dance floor. Of course I went running out after him with my camera to capture the magic. We hope to see you at many more weddings Eli! Smile, it’s Monday!
Gina and Nate were married at Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park, Colorado. As mountain weddings go, the weather is unpredictable and we were nervous about their outdoor ceremony getting rained out. Luckily, the rain came and went right before the ceremony began… and then came back right after it was over! But the day was perfect nonetheless. And what can I say about Gina and Nate? They are fun-loving and full of life, and Gina is quite possibly one of the happiest people we’ve ever met! You can’t help but be in a good mood when you’re in the presence of these two, and we’re thankful to have been just a small part of their special day. We hope you two are enjoying your honeymoon in Mexico!

Christian and Aeshna were married at the Hyatt Regency DTC… and then they were married again at Arrowhead Golf Club in Littleton, Colorado. Yep, you read that right, they had two ceremonies. The day started out bright and early with the Sikh ceremony in the morning, followed by the Christian ceremony in the afternoon. Then everyone was off to Cielo at Castle Pines for the fun-filled reception. What a long, jam-packed entertaining day! This was our first time filming an Indian wedding, and it was awesome – we loved learning about the Indian traditions, we loved the vibrant colors and we loved the talented reception entertainment. And if you thought two ceremonies were enough, they are having one more wedding in Germany later this summer. I’m sure it’ll be just as amazing! Here’s a little sneak peek of their day, condensed down to a little under two minutes, we can’t wait to share more! Congrats Christian and Aeshna!

“Disney Wedding!” was the subject of the email we first received from Mary and Paul about the possibility of filming their 2010 Disney destination wedding. Mary had been a BIG Disney fan since she was a little girl, and it was always a dream of hers to visit Disney World one day. Her dream finally came true in 2008 when Paul took her to Disney World to celebrate her 26th birthday, and it was every bit as magical as she thought it would be as a child. After getting engaged a year later, and in the midst of planning their wedding, Mary stumbled upon a photo of a Disney bride being whisked away in a carriage. The lightbulb went off and she immediately began researching Disney as a possible wedding location and shortly after called Paul with the news “I know where we can get married!!!” And the rest is history…
Since Mary and Paul live in Toronto, our only communication had been through email and phone conversations, so when Mary first contacted us with the idea of shooting a save the date video at Disney, we were siked! After speaking with Mary and Paul about their vision, we knew we wanted to do something outside the box. Mary and Paul are more fun, happy-go-lucky than romantic, lovey-dovey, so they wanted something that showcased their personalities more than just shots of them walking around, holding hands and smooching. Since more than half of their wedding guests have never been to Disney, they also wanted their film to show how fun their Disney wedding is going to be, and get their family and friends excited about spending time at the magical place that Mary had fallen in love with. In Mary’s own words, “we thought that it would be fun to maybe shoot a sort of engagement style, come to our Disney wedding because it’s going to be awesome, I mean, just look at this video!” We also wanted to tie in the story of why they chose Disney as their wedding location, which was a bit of a challenge making the streets of Orlando comparable to the streets of Toronto (i.e. no palm trees!) Haha, Paul assured us it wasn’t too far off. Although we spent most of the day filming, it was great spending time getting to know them, and they are every bit as nice and sweet in person as they had been through our phone conversations. Well Mary and Paul, we hope this film gets your guests excited for your wedding, we know we are! It’s going to be magical.

Thanks Paul!! I told Spirit you said ‘hi’ and she turned her head sideways See you soon!
Paul
Wow! Hello eye candy!
I don’t think we blinked once while watching that masterpiece.
You two have so much raw natural talent and you make such a great team. I look back at the day we shot that with you two and all I remember was what a blast we had. It definitely didn’t feel like we were working to make a video. Everything we did that day was captured and put together better than anything we could have imagined x 10. We couldn’t have picked a better cinematography team for our wedding.
Next time we meet it will be the most important day of My life and Mary’s and we wouldn’t want anyone else to capture it but the two of you. We should get a picture with the 4 of us, and even Spirit if she is there. Stop by next time you are anywhere near Toronto, we would love to show you around; we mean it!
By the way, say hi to Spirit for us, we loved meeting her!
Haha we’re so glad you LOVED it! We had a great time, can’t wait until September!
Mary
LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! Did I mention that I love it?!
Mike and Summer: I can’t put into words how this video made me feel when Paul and I first watched it today. After watching it, Paul and I just looked at each other and smiled. No words needed. The video was better than anything that we could have ever imagined. You guys are amazing and we feel very fortunate that you’re going to be part of our wedding in September.
Lauren and Chris were married at St. Jude Catholic Church, with the reception at Greystone within Piedmont Park in hot and humid Atlanta, Georgia. This was our first destination wedding of the year, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day! Sweet couple + beautiful location + warm, sunny weather = perfect wedding! Not to mention the opportunity to devour one of the most scrumptious treats known to man, the speciality cake-pops that Lauren makes herself. Definitely recommend checking out Sweet Lauren Cakes and taste the deliciousness for yourself. Seriously. Delicious. Here’s a little sneak peak of their day, we can’t wait to share more!

Seriously, you guys were a dream to work with!!! As artists, you both respected that we were all there to capture the days event and tell a story. As a husband and wife team, you guys rocked it! I wish the two of you guys could be the official videographers for all my weddings! Can’t wait to see the official video
All I can say is “WOW”. I have watched the video at least 8 times by now and everytime I cry. You did an amazing job of really capturing us and the special moments that we were experiencing. Watching the video, I feel the same as I did in each moment you portray- walking down the aisle, seeing Chris looking at me, our first dance and walking in the moonlight– and in general just all the happiness that we felt together that day. It’s just amazing how beautifully you captured everything and it’s definitely a video that we will treasue to our old age. Again, simply beautiful. Thank you.
Mom
I cried tears of joy at the wedding; tears again filled my eyes with this clip. You are truly a special and splendid couple. One whom I feel will bless others with your shared life & experiences. I love you both! And thanks to everyone who came together with us, filled this happy day with joy!!!
Pam Lanford
Chris and Lauren – it was the perfect wedding for the perfect couple. The love shown on both of your faces was incredible. I can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures and the video – this clip was wonderful. Love you both !!
Maegan and Panama were married at the historic University Club in Denver, Colorado. They first met and fell in love when they were working at Starbucks in Denver and the rest is history! Maegan loves everything Denver and we had a great time wandering around the Capital, Union Station, and Larimer Square getting cool shots along with the talented Kim and Will of Element One Photography. Sara Duffey Artistry did a fantastic job on as usual, Maegan was glowing the entire day! The candlelit ceremony was very romantic, the reception was decorated beautifully and the intimate lighting made for some amazing first dance shots. Although our favorite part of the night had to be the Baylor University (Maegan’s alma mater) tradition of “Dr. Pepper” hour, where the guests were invited to make their own Dr. Pepper ice-cream floats mmmmm delicious! We also loved their fun and unique idea for place cards, they attached their guests’ names to different Starbuck’s flavored syrup bottles… Summer and I were secretly plotting to take a Vanilla syrup for ourselves, but thought it’d be best to leave them for guests :) Unfortunately Panama’s family couldn’t make it to Denver for the wedding, so we hope they get to enjoy their highlights and wedding trailer from their hometown in Panama. Thanks for the fun times Maegan and Panama!

Whitney and Jeff were married at the Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park, Colorado. This was a destination wedding for their families, as they live in Texas, and it was a gorgeous Colorado day, snow and all! It was chilly outside but the sun was shining which kept us all a little warmer. Whitney, Jeff and their wedding party were so much fun to film! They were constantly laughing, joking around, stomping around in the snow and having a great time. I don’t know what it is about a bride and groom jumping, but it’s always a hit! It was also a blast working with Ashley of Ashley Davis Photography, their photos are amazing! Thanks to Whitney, Jeff and their families for throwing an awesome event and inviting us to be there to capture it. Enjoy!
