Brits vs. Yanks

Jenny and Andrew were married at Garden of the Gods Club in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  We really love when we meet with a bride for the first time, and we hear her say that she almost gave up on hiring a cinematographer because they couldn’t find anyone who suited their modern, artistic tastes until they stumbled upon our website. We were so happy that Jenny found us, and we were able to document their wedding day!   Their wedding was absolutely amazing – not to mention a first for us, almost half of the guests, groom included, hopped the pond from England to join in the celebration.   It was our first experience with the British best-man toast which is apparently the main attraction at British weddings, and Andrew’s best men did quite a remarkable job, it was humorous, emotional and filled with love.  And besides the intense Brits vs. Yanks karaoke sing-off, everyone got along smashingly and had a blast!  It was thrilling to watch the clouds rolling in throughout the ceremony, without one drop of rain hitting the ground.  It was almost as if the clouds parted right over the ceremony.  Besides wonderful people, toasts, and scenery, we can’t forget to mention the unstoppable, incredible Studio JK.   Joe and Joyce, besides being phenomenal photographers, have such an enthusiasm that makes everyone around them smile and be instantly put in a good mood. We always tell our brides about the importance of hiring a competent, professional photographer, because (besides the obvious of getting stunning photos ) it only makes their wedding film that much better as well!  We had the chance to glance at some of their photos from the day, and we can’t wait to see the rest.   Thanks Joe and Joyce for being so awesome to work with; we can’t wait to shoot with you again next year!  Congratulations Jenny and Andrew, we hope you enjoy your trailer – Cheers!
