A few weeks ago, Rising Moon had the pleasure of working with an awesome group of artists to create an ‘Inspiration to Reality’ feature for Style Me Pretty. Thanks to Cori Cook Floral Design and Rachel with Talia Events for putting together this amazing showcase of ‘rustic elegance!’ We all met at Crooked Willow Farms in Larkspur, and it was fun to capture the whole thing come together. Yeah, we had a busy weekend! An and Viet were also married this past weekend in Denver, Colorado. At first we were a little nervous when we woke up to light flurries, but it made for such an amazingly pure backdrop to their beautiful wedding day. It was also such a pleasure working with Dawn Sparks, can’t wait to see their photos! Thank you An and Viet for allowing us to be a part of your special day and enjoy your teaser!

Maegan and Panama were married this past weekend at The University Club in Denver, Colorado. What a great day and such a fun couple! And a big huge thank you to Kim and Will of Element One Photography for dragging us along for some cool shots all around Denver. Elizabeth and Michael were married at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church with the reception at the beautiful Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park, Colorado. For a January wedding, we lucked out with perfect weather – and no blizzards! We had such a great time at their wedding and can’t wait to edit their whole film. In the meantime, here is a little sneak peek of their wedding day.

So this highlight ended up being a little longer than usual, but we just had so much great footage we couldn’t resist! The love, passion, kindness and humor Katelyn and Stephen share with each other is contagious and they are such a joy to be around. They were married in her grandfather’s famous gardens in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and we have to say, it was beau-ti-ful! Shooting the first dance through the trees, steadicaming through the vine covered archway, dancing outside under the stars, and our little blue booties to wear about the house … the creative possibilities were endless, a cinematographer’s dream come true. We hope you enjoy your highlights Katelyn and Stephen, we had such a great time at your wedding and wish you nothing but happiness.
